EMBERRRRRRRRRRRRRR YES! I cannot wait to read Wrath- I JUST got it as a gift from my OTSP and I’m super excited. 🙂 I also can’t wait to read Magnus Chase! I’ve had it since it released…and I still haven’t read it. *hides*

  2. redinkisbetter says:

Wow! That looks like a really good reading and blogging year 🙂 I really loved The Wrath and The Dawn and you two have fantastic tastes in books! I can’t wait for The Raven King either! Happy New Year!

  3. theobservantgirl says:

Sarena, definitely read Queen of Shadows in 2016! I just finished reading it and it was incredible! I absolutely loved it. The two of you definitely picked some great books that I (personally) am looking forward to reading in 2016. Happy New Year!

    • The Writing Duo says:

Yeah, i will definitely get around to it! I will read The Assassin’s Blade first though, because i’ve heard there are a lot of connections! And i hope you enjoy reading those–happy new year! 😀

  4. Alex @ Fiery Reads says:

I also loved An Ember in the Ashes! It was in my top 10 of 2015 🙂 It’s too bad that you didn’t like Truthwitch that much though. I’m worried that it won’t be able to live up to the MASSIVE hype surrounding it :/ Based off this survey, it seems like you had an amazing year for reading! I hope 2016 is even better for both of you 🙂

    • The Writing Duo says:

Ember is SO good–glad you enjoyed it! Honestly I still think you should give Truthwitch a try; I read her other book (Something Strange & Deadly) and loved it! Best of luck in 2016! 😊
