Camp NaNoWriMo

Five days in. No mosquito bites yet. But it’s been a heck of a ride!

Yes, it’s Camp NaNoWriMo, and we’re aiming for 50 000 + words (hopefully near 70k!) for our third novel of The Pendant Trilogy (name will be disclosed at a later date). We’ve been assigned a cabin – hooray! – and have met lots of cool writer friends.

We’ve gotten a solid 2500 words done a day, which is pretty good. That’s on track for 75k at the end of the month! This summer is the perfect time to get looots of writing done – not to mention the publication of our second book THIS MONTH for THE KING’S JEWEL.

We are so excited! Tell us how your Camp NaNo experience is going; if you’re not doing Camp, let us know how your WIPs or other projects are coming along. This is going to be an awesome summer for writing.

Why not be a Camp NaNo participant! You even get a cool badge!

Best of luck to all, readers and writers.

Good to hear that the writing is going well – 2500 is very good progress! I’m nowhere near as fast, averaging around 1200 on regular days. So my goal for Camp is 1000 words a day and it’s going pretty good so far 🙂 All the best with the rest of the month!
